I had the chance to watch a friend's 20-month-old playing with Henry yesterday. It is amazing what this little boy, Alexx, can do already that took Henry months to learn. I have to remind myself that at 20 months, Henry had only been hearing English and having access to toys for about a month. Alexx picked up the shape sorter and immediately tried to reach the blocks inside, then, when he couldn't, he dumped it upside down to get them out. When Henry, at that age, saw the shape sorter, he - yes - threw it. He is doing much better now! Here they are, banging pots!
